The package of Toronto Maple Leaf merchandise has finally arrived! There are 2 signed pictures of James Reimer and 3 of Colton Orr. There will be a silent auction at BFA starting at 9am and running until the record is finished. 
If you want to bid on the picture but can’t make it to the event, check out the blog and bid there.
There’s some more exciting news to report! MCTV news will be coming. Not only will that add some great publicity, but being on TV will be pretty cool. Guinness also requires “Independent corroboration in the form of media coverage” so it will help to verify the attempt.
Donations are still coming in here and there. Just today two more businesses have expressed their intention to become sponsors.
And finally, I’ve confirmed an opponent! I think this particular person is strongly committed to breaking the record as well as being competitive enough to push well past 24 hours. She is definitely my team-mate and I look forward to smashing the record to pieces with her. Her name is, if you haven’t already guessed it, Breanna Broughton!
